The air-cooled in-line 2-cylinder two-stroke engine was mounted in the extreme rear, delivering 16 horsepower to the rear wheels. The 3-speed transmission was operated by a floor-mounted shift lever and the steering assembly was rack-and-pinion. The unique independent suspension featured trailing arms in the front and swing axles in the rear, with front and rear torsion bars and coil springs. The body itself was a monocoque construction.
