"You can make a lot of money on a customer the first time, but there's a chance they'll never come back. If you're fair with them, they'll always come back."

"My father taught me to always be fair with people and they'll come back, " says Desirée Faréy, General Manager of her family-owned store in Lake Forest, CA. "I know it works, because I have customers to whom I've sold five, six, or more cars. Not only do they come back, but they bring other customers in too, because they trust me." "Our dealership is not like a machine," explains her father, Frank Sanchez. "Customers are not just a number here. People come back to us for years because we always take care of them."

"I specialize in the credit area," says Desirée (Desi to her friends and family). "I'm good at helping customers get their credit approved. In fact, I'm known as the 'Credit Queen' around here," she laughs. "It makes me feel good when I can help somebody purchase their new car."
